Baptisms

Adult Baptism

Through baptism, we make a public commitment to follow God. We have several adult baptism services every year, which are a special time for us to celebrate people’s new commitments to God together as a church. If you would like to get baptised or renew your baptismal vows, please send an enquiry via the form below and we will be in touch with details about the next baptism service.

Our next Baptism Service will be taking place on Sunday 2 March, 2025.

Infant Baptism

At an infant baptism, the parents and godparents of the child make a public commitment on their behalf. If you are interested in having your child baptised at HT, please send an enquiry via the form below and we will be in touch about potential dates. If you have questions about Infant Baptism, please see the Church of England’s FAQs below.

Infant Dedications

At a dedication, parents give thanks to God for their child and commit to raising them in the Christian faith. Family and friends commit to supporting the parents in their responsibilities with prayer and love.

If you would like to dedicate your child at one of our services, please complete the below form.

Confirmations

Through Confirmation, you can reaffirm the commitment you made at your baptism.

We occasionally host Confirmation services at HT. If you are interested in exploring confirmation, please email us in the first instance.

Funerals

We are so sorry for your loss. If you would like to host a funeral or memorial service for a loved one at HT, please reach out to our Associate Vicar Andy Woodman in the first instance.
