Frequently Asked Questions
-
HT is located on Market Street in Cambridge (CB2 3NZ) just next door to Pret and across the way from Café Nero, Claire's, and Pizza Pilgrims. The church can be spotted on Sundays with big blue flags outside and the friendly welcome team standing on the doors!
-
In each service you'll find:
A time of singing together (all the words are displayed on screens)
A short talk (about 25 minutes)
Time to pray (and be prayed for if you'd like)
At one service each Sunday, we will also have communion together. There is always a service leader to help guide everyone through what’s happening, and there is no pressure to join anything if you don’t want to. You will know which service will have communion each week by looking at our service times for the one marked with an asterisk (*).
If you want to get a feel for it, we also live-stream one of our services each week – you can watch past services here.
-
Most of our services are about an hour and a half, with optional refreshments afterwards. Stick around for a coffee or a tea — we'd love to meet you!
-
We’re really relaxed – come along in whatever is comfortable! Most people wear whatever they might wear to the shops on a Saturday.
-
We love making space for kids at HT! HT Kids groups (ages 0-11) run during one or two of our services most Sundays – see our Sundays page to see what’s happening this Sunday.
If your kids are a bit older (11-17), young people are of course welcome at all our services. HT Youth meets during the 5:30 PM service during term-time. Check out more here.
We have a child-friendly room where you can go with little ones during services that don’t have HT Kids groups. The service is live-streamed to the TV so that your little one can be comfortable AND you don't have to miss out!

Due to the city centre location, there is no car parking available onsite at HT. Most folks who drive park in one of the city centre car parks like The Grand Arcade. Some also park on one of the streets surrounding the centre of town and walk in.
However, there are railings and bike racks for cycle parking all around the outside of the building.
-
There is step-free access to the Main Church building and accessible toilets. Song lyrics are displayed on screens during worship for those who are hearing impaired.
There is also socially-distanced seating available in the balcony.
If you have any questions about accessibility, we would love to hear from you and will endeavour to accommodate what arrangements might be necessary. Get in touch with someone on our Adults Ministry Team if you need additional assistance.
