Volunteer Role Description

We're looking for keen and enthusiastic people of any age who love Jesus and would be keen to volunteer with either babies, toddlers, young children or older children.

Our vision is to see children from 0 to 11 grow deeper in their faith, closer in their friendships with each other, and to help them step into all that God has in store for their lives.

Role description:

• Commit to serving on the team for either the 9:30 AM or 3:45 PM service.

• Invest in the children of your group (get to know them, pray for them, love and look after them, build up relationships with them and their parents).

  • For the older groups, there will be material to read and prepare in advance of Sunday.

• Attend a second service and join a small group (Home Group/Youth Group/Student Group).

• Try to glorify Christ in all areas of your life (work, relationships and free time).

• We follow the diocese of Ely safer recruiting guidelines and take references and a full DBS check for all volunteers. Before you start we will meet up with you to get to know more about you. Its also an opportunity for you to get to know more about HT Kids! We will then need you to complete a DBS check and supply two references. We will help you with this process!
