What is New Creations?
Coffee • Crèche • Community
New Creations is for parents of children, from newborn to the end of primary school. We meet on Wednesdays at Holy Trinity Church and the group is run by church members. Each week begins at 10 AM with refreshments. An activity then starts at 10:30 AM with an 11:30 AM finish. Grandparents and carers are also very welcome.
You are also welcome to stay afterwards and feed yourself and your little ones in the church (bring your own picnic) or join others who go to the Marks & Spencer café next door.

We suggest a donation of £3 per session attended.
How does it work?
Each week begins with tea, coffee, and refreshments at 10 AM before starting the main session with an organised activity for parents at 10:30 AM. Activities range from baking to crafts to hearing speakers talk on relevant and helpful topics. Every week there is also a two-minute “thought for the day” given by one of the team. At this point, children ages 5-11 will head upstairs to the playgroup, and there are a couple of options for children ages 0-4. You can:
Keep them downstairs with you where we will have some toys and mats available for them
Take them to the playgroup upstairs where you can either drop them off with the leaders, or stay and play with them
Upstairs in the playgroup, children aged 0-4 years old can join the older kids to play, sing, enjoy a story, and a craft. All the sessions and playgroups are run by leaders and staff who are DBS-checked.

Exploring the Christian Faith
Looking to exercise your brain in some direction other than the next feed or figuring out a sleeping pattern? (We totally get it!) Why not think about joining others on an Alpha Course!
Want to start reading the Bible, but don’t know where to begin? Download the Bible App and find a Bible reading plan to help you make the Bible part of your everyday life. We recommend starting with the What's Next Bible plan to help you dig deeper.
“If you ever have any questions or prayer requests, one of the New Creations team would love to support you — no question or prayer request is too big, too small or too silly. We really look forward to meeting you!”
